On the way to Machu Picchu

            Finally I am off to Machu Picchu. First you get a bus and the countryside 

                         entrances you. I cannot get enough of the Andes.
Before we get on the train our reservation voucher for the hotel blew out of the hands of the young lady checking our train tickets and into ........

                                       Well .......whatever

The train was cool. We went Inka Rail which is privately owned ... funky carriages.

But this is stunning!

           This one with the "V" though is possibly one of the important ones for the Incas. 
                               You will have to wait for my post on Machu Picchu itself.
